We focus on providing training in a safe, supportive, and judgement free environment that encourages all types of students. We want to take the fear out of firearms training and help you become the most capable protector you can be.

While we welcome everyone who wants to learn, Calm, Collected, Carrying is tailored towards women and mothers who want to learn how to defend themselves and their families. Because we are women, we feel that we understand the approach necessary to make other women feel safe and supported during their firearms journey, as well as helping recommend concealed carry options that fit women's lifestyles.

Small class sizes
We understand that your time is an investment and want you to get the most out of your firearms training. That's why we keep class sizes to a minimum so that we can offer each student valuable one on one instruction.
Innovative Solutions

As busy women on the go, we understand that while it is currently not recommended by most instructors, off-body carry i.e.: carrying in a purse or bag is the easiest and most comfortable solution for most women. That is why we have partnered with Cakes Concealed, a new brand that combines style, comfortability, and accessibility to bring real life women real life carry solutions that actually work. We train you how to draw from your Cakes or other concealed carry bag quickly, safely, and effectively.

Hey, I'm Holly!
I am the full-time media marketing director and chief editor for L.A.G. Tactical holsters, Nevada pistol instructor, and CCW content creator with over 10 years of firearms experience.
So many women are victims of harassment, stalking, domestic violence, trafficking and robbery every day. With the world becoming more and more unpredictable, I've made it my mission to help everyday citizens take control of their own safety so that they don't have to rely on the police whose average response time is more than 10 minutes.
I've traveled the country attending some of the Nation's best firearms training programs so that I can bring the most valuable knowledge back home to the Great Basin and share it with my community.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing other women express interest in learning to defend themselves. I'm here to help walk you through the journey of being scared and unprepared to becoming Calm, Collected, and Carrying!
